Now accepting new 1-on-1 clients
GENHEALTH COLLECTIVE is a lifestyle coaching practice dedicated to empowering those at risk of cardio-metabolic disease to unlock the body's natural desire and ability to heal. Our holistic, integrative nutrition approach examines genetic predisposition, and the underlying lifestyle factors contributing to bodily dysfunction. We partner with the client on safe, sustainable strategies for long-term wellness.
We do not diagnose or treat individual diseases, nor prescribe or alter medications or dietary protocols. Instead, we work in concert with your primary care physician, registered dietician, or multi-disciplinary specialists directly or indirectly to help you implement lifestyle changes for optimal health outcomes.
What's in a name?
GENHEALTH exemplifies the belief that we each hold the power to positively impact our genetic and generational health. Epigenetic research has shown that lifestyle choices and environmental factors influence our DNA code, effectively turning on/off the expression of genes. Research also shows strong evidence that trauma and behavioral and metabolic symptoms can have lasting effects across four generations. For better or worse, you can change your family tree.
COLLECTIVE is the cooperative enterprise, the curated resources, affiliate partners, and community working together as a supportive eco-system empowering your path to overall wellbeing.
About the Practice

DARRIN R. MORRIS
FOUNDER & LIFESTYLE COACH
My career has been defined by guiding individuals and teams through complexity across industries, disciplines, and demographics.
Professionally, I’m drawn to challenging, often messy, situations. Whether it’s recasting vision or reenergizing people, I thrive on the process of defining, measuring, analyzing, and optimizing systems to create predictable, sustainable outcomes. Because at the core of everything—operations, leadership, transformation, or the state of one's health—is process.
Curiosity is my compass. I ask questions that uncover root causes and reveal hidden dynamics.
Critical thinking is my lens. I evaluate patterns, challenge assumptions, and separate facts from limiting beliefs and misinformation.
Personally, I've long considered my lifestyle a relatively healthy one. However, a routine wellness screening in 2015 told a different story:
Elevated blood pressure and LDL cholesterol—time to revisit my process.
After months of research, experimentation and learning, I transitioned to a whole food, plant-based dietary pattern in 2020 and successfully normalized my metabolic markers. As a bonus, I soon realized my joints no longer ached, which I previously attributed to just getting older.
In December 2024, I retired from a corporate executive role and redirected my people development experience and process-improvement expertise towards building a platform to help others thrive on their midlife+ journey to better health.
GENHEALTH COLLECTIVE became the embodiment of that effort while completing my Health Coaching Certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I’m especially passionate about lifestyle medicine and epigenetics, and the role they can play in reversing trends in chronic disease attributed to modifiable behaviors.
